Step 1: Application Process
Please submit your application with required documents to the
Military Housing Office (MHO). CLICK HERE to download the application

THOSE WITH BASE ACCESS may apply ON-BASE at Military
Housing Office located on MCAS Cherry Point, Bldg 496 Madison
Drive (Hours: M-F, 8AM - 4PM).
Directions from the Main Gate to MCAS Cherry Point, MHO,
Bldg 496 Madison Drive:
- Enter through main gate
- Follow Roosevelt Blvd.
- Turn left on Madison Dr.
- Building 496 will be on the right.
- Enter through Slocum gate
- Follow Slocum Rd.
- Turn left on Roosevelt Blvd.
- Turn left on Madison Dr.
- Building 496 will be on the right.
Step 2: Paperwork Processing
The MHO will gather your paperwork and required documents, process
your application, and qualify you for housing on-base. This process
takes approximately 3-7 business days.
Step 3: Referral Process
Once your application is processed and approved by the MHO, you
will be referred to a PPV partner, such as Atlantic Marine Corps
Communities. AMCC houses all ranks. When AMCC receives notification
from the MHO that your paperwork has been processed successfully,
you will be contacted by someone from the AMCC Leasing Team and
offered a home that meets your needs.
Non-Active Duty Applicants
Application Steps for Non-Active Duty Applicants
Step 1: Application Process
Please submit your application with required documents to the AMCC
Leasing Office. CLICK

download and complete the rental application packet. If you will be
filling out the PDF electronically, right-click the link above and
save the PDF to your device before beginning.
Once you have completed and signed the rental application, please
return the application, along with the following documents,
to [email protected].
You may also apply in person at the Slocum Village
Community Center located at 102 Bern St., Havelock, NC 28532
(Hours: M-F, 8AM-5PM; Sat, 9A-3P)
Additional documents required to complete your application:
-Proof of Income - 2 months (per person if applicable over the age
of 18)
-Copy of Photo ID (per person over the age of 18)
-Tax Return showing dependents over the age of 18
Non-Active Duty prospective residents must be able to pass
applicable credit/background checks and pay a $25 non-refundable
application fee, per applicant age 18 or older and upon approval,
pay a $200 deposit up to $500 deposit with conditional approval.
There is a 2 pet maximum (cat/dog, dog breed restrictions apply)
with a one-time $150 non-refundable pet fee, per pet.
Step 2: Paperwork Processing
AMCC will review your application and required documents and
contact you to confirm receipt of your application and to process
your application fee.
